Pitta+Kapha-naashak mudra

Pitta + Kapha Nashak Mudra appears in traditional yoga and Ayurveda literature. It is better understood as a cultural and contemplative practice than as a clinically validated treatment.

How it is traditionally described Some sources connect the gesture with the thumb, ring finger, and little finger. Because historical descriptions vary, readers should not assume that one internet diagram represents a universal form.

Gentle use If practising the gesture during meditation, keep the hands relaxed and maintain ordinary breathing. Stop if there is pain, tingling, cramping, or numbness. There is no proven therapeutic benefit from forcing the fingers into a particular position for a fixed period.

Health advice Claims about removing disease or changing a dosha should be presented as traditional beliefs rather than medical facts. Use qualified healthcare advice for diagnosis and treatment, and never replace prescribed care with a mudra.
