Happiness and Health.

Happiness and Health.

Every human home was originally
intended to be a real haven of rest- a little heaven on earth, where all of the children would learn to be unselfish. Attitudes of love and loyalty were to be inculcated into their minds. It was to be a place where youth could grow up happily, and to which they might return for comfort and guidance even after having left their parents to establish new homes for themselves. Such an ideal whenever realized goes far to minimize problems of later life. Some may not have such a home that is the game of life.
True, there are those who think that life must go on according to the brutal ways of the jungle. They claim that human feelings really do not matter. This is far from true. Man was “made in the image of God” that they might reflect the glory and love of God. Originally he was placed in beautiful garden home, not in a cruel, heartless jungle with no law except survival of the fittest.
A happy home should be the heritage of every person who comes into this world. NO child should be allowed to remain long in an unhappy home, for unhappiness can soon cause illness of both mind and body. The contented person who has been privileged to know and understand the better ways of life , and who lives sensibly can usually enjoy the best of health , both mentally and physically .
If children everywhere were given the right kind of home training , there would be no more wars, no more crimes especially the shootout at universities and colleges by teenagers , and no more poverty. Almost all the problems that afflict the human race can be traced to wrong environment during childhood and youth. Proper home training develops a balanced personality.
Many people are too self-centred to live happily together . Even when two people marry , it is often impossible for them to get along well with each other. The reason? They are so wrapped up in their own wants and whims that they cannot think of the other person. This attitude is often unconsciously copied by the children, and so it passes on from one unhappy generation to another.

Price of a Happy home
A happy home is never an accident. Some one always has to pay the price, not only in money, but also in the deeper realities of life. But a happy home is worth whatever it may cost. Fortunately it is not a question of money. People who are very poor in this world’s goods can be so happy that their joy exceeds anything that money can buy. There are others who have all that this world can offer, and yet are utterly miserable. Happiness does not depend upon the amount of money can buy. There are others who have all that this world can offer, and yet utterly miserable. Happiness does not depend upon the amount money one possesses, but rather on a wholesome personality and outlook on life.
To build a happy home, both parents must be prepared to get along well with each other. Their personalities must blend together. Each must respect the rights of the other , and both must be prepared to work out their problems without quarrelling . Neither parent can expect to be right all the time. Each must be willing to give in to the other for the good of all in the home. Defects in one’s own disposition or habits may have to be corrected in order to build a successful and well-adjusted family relationship. Both parents need to remember that the little joys, kindness and happy surprises really make life worthwhile.
Why some homes Fail
Selfish people never create happy homes. Their personalities are too immature. A person who is basically selfish has never completely grown up in mind. He is still an undeveloped adolescent , not a mature person. He will always want his own way. Regardless of the feelings of others. By his actions he is saying , “I want what I want when I want it.”
Such an attitude can never build a truly happy community. Young people should certainly keep this in mind when considering marriage,. It is never wise to marry a selfish person, for the chances of changing him or her are slim indeed. That is why so many homes endure only under great stress or eventually break up . People who are really in love with each other are not selfish or demanding. They are willing to go more than half way in solving any problem they may face.
Jealousy has no place in a happy home. A jealous person tends to be insecure. He is never sure of himself. A happy home cannot be built around a person whose feelings are easily injured . Real homes are built on love that endures, not on flighty feelings that fade away under the touch of trouble or criticism.
Centre of the Home.
The true centre of every home is the mother. No one else can ever take her place. Her tastes, her desires, her ideals, like those of the little mother bird, will influence everything that goes on within that home. All the interests and activities of a happy family centre on the mother. If she is kind and cultured, her home will reflect her fine ideals. But if she is careless or ignorant, the home will quickly show her poor attitude or lack of training .
Education is very important to a young man if he is to succeed in the business and professional world. Everyone will agree o this. But education in the art of home-making is even more important for a young woman, for into her hands has been committed the very future of the human race. Every girl should be given thorough training in the principles of health, Child care and home skills . The success of the family, the community, the nation and the world depends on the young women of today and the kind of homes they establish. There is no greater responsibility than this.
To be a place of true happiness, the home should be bright and cheerful.. Every day each room should be filled with sunshine and fresh air, so that every part of the house will be sweet and clean for the family to enjoy. Above all , it should be a place of joy and love, a place where the door is ever open to friends and neighbors and where even strangers will be received with hospitality and kindness.
Remember this . Happy parents created happy homes. Happy homes produce happy children. Happy children make a happy community and a happy communities make a happier world.

Kundalini Shakti

All lifein the cosmos is animated by life-force or ‘vital energy’ that is said to be the power that governs the universal power. The Indian word for this life-force is ‘prana’ and Kundalini shakti , the Chinese call it ‘chi’, the Apache ‘divin’ and the pygmies ‘mana’.

This life force (kundalini Shakti or prana shakti) is the animating power that flows through all living things. A living person is filled with it; a dead person has none. It is also the life energy one senses in nature, in the cosmos around us . It is this indwelling force that manifests as the feel of a direction or a pattern frozen with an instant.

All living beings have this life force (prana or kundalini Shakti) it is the cultivation, expansion,
harnessing and use of this force (kundalini) is important. In yoga this done by the activating the subtle system of channels called nadis and centers of energy called chakras which look after our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual being .

There seven chakras present in the every human being with each one having several spiritual
qualities.

Mooladhara Chakra

The first chakra is situated b
elow the sacrum bone in which resides the Kundalini, and its main aspect is the innocence. Innocence is the quality by which we experience pure, childlike joy, without the limitations of prejudice or conditionings. Innocence gives us dignity, balance, and a tremendous sense of direction and purpose in life. It is nothing but simplicity, purity and joy.
It is the inner wisdom that is ever present in the little children, and gets sometimes clouded by our modern lifestyles. But it is a quality which exists eternally within us and cannot be destroyed, waiting to be manifest as pure joy when the Kundalini rises.

Swadishthan Chakra

The second chakra is the chakra of creativity, pure attention and pure knowledge. It is the one
which connects us to the inner source of inspiration, and enables us to experience the beauty around us.
The pure knowledge given by this chakra is not mental, but it is direct perception of the Reality, that can be felt in our palms and indicates our subtle blockages. Also this is the center of pure, steady attention and power of concentration.
On the physical level it looks after our liver, kidneys, and the lower abdomen. When we think too much, this center gets drained of energy and diseases like
diabetes or blood cancer can occur when this chakra goes completely out of balance.

Nabhi Chakra

The third chakra is the one that gives us the sense of generosity, complete
satisfaction and
and tensions. contentment.
On the left side, the main quality of this center is peace - clearing this chakra can relieve stress

On the right side, it looks after our liver which is the organ of our attention and power of concentration.

When enlightened by the Kundalini, the Nabhi chakra gives us our spiritual ascent, righteousness and inner sense of morality, and complete balance at all levels in our life.

The Heart Chakra or Anahat Chakra

The fourth chakra, the chakra of the heart, is the place where resides our Spirit, our true Self,
which is eternally pure and unaffected by anything, like a shining diamond hidden within us which witnesses all our actions.
After Self Realization, our attention becomes for the first time connected to our Spirit and we gradually become aware of it. Our misidentifications with our ego or conditionings drop and we start becoming identified with our Spirit, which is our true nature.

On the physical level, this chakra looks after our heart and lungs - if affected it can cause asthma or various heart conditions.

It is from our heart that the compassion and love manifests, and also the heart chakra is the one that gives us the sense of responsibility and pure behaviour towards others. The heart chakra manifests in the center (at the level of the sternum bone) as complete security and confidence.

All our worries, doubts and fears are destroyed when the heart chakra is fully enlightened by the Kundalini.

Vishuddhi Chakra

The fifth chakra is the chakra of diplomacy, of pure relationships with others, and of playful
detachment.
It removes all our guilts and remorses when it is opened by the Kundalini, and gives us a kind and compassionate voice. The tendencies to dominate others or to feel dominated by others, the feelings of superiority or inferiority and all jealousies are removed when this chakra is nourished by the Kundalini.

Also, the Vishuddhi is the chakra which gives us the connection with the whole, enabling us to feel our oneness and the fact that we are all part and parcel of the whole.

The Agnya Chakra
The sixth chakra is the chakra of forgiveness and compassion. Forgiveness is
the power to let go of anger, hatred and resentment and to discover, in
humility, the nobility and generosity of the Spirit.
It is the one that dissolves all our ego, conditionings, habits, false ideas of racialism, and all our misidentifications. It is the narrow gate which opens the way for our consciousness to ascend to its final destination, which is the seventh center.

Roving eyes, watching impure things, or self-centeredness damage this chakra. Watching the sky, earth or nature can help cleanse it.

The Sahasrara Chakra

The seventh center integrates all the chakras with their respective qualities. It is the last
milestone of the evolution of human awareness.
Nowadays, we are at a level which corresponds to this chakra, and our consciousness is able to easily enter into this new realm of perception, which is beyond our limited mind and concepts, and which becomes absolute at the level of the Sahasrara.

Kundalini Shakti is the cosmic power that lies dormant in the Muladhara Chakra near anus. Yogis awaken this power by Kundalini yoga and take it to the crown of the head by piercing the chakras of the sushumna, one of the important nadis. The other two important nadis are Ida and Pingala. Both these subtle astral tubes correspond to left and right of the sympathetic chains. Ida flows through the left nostril and gives a cooling effect while pingala flows through the right nostril and emits warmth.
Yogis tell us that moon is the presiding deity of Ida and sun is the presiding Deity of Pingala. That is why sometimes the left nostril is flowing, sometimes the right and sometimes both. When left flows, it is the Ida nadi that is operating. At that time one should perform simple and peaceful works. But when the right nostril is flowing, it is Pingala that operates. Then one should do vigorous and hard works such as exercises, eating, bathing, etc. Also , one should sleep during that state , because Pingala digests the food quickly and bestows sound sleep.
But when both the nostrils flow, it is Sushumna nadi that is operating. That is the time for the practice of meditation, repetition of the Lord's name, prayer and enquiry.
Sushu8mna, the best of all nadis, arises from the basal plexus and passes through the spinal column, through the subtle channel of the spinal cord, up to the crown of the head. All Chakras or mystic centres are situated in it.
By Meditation one can raise kundalini , Meditation mean practicing with total absorption. You then don’t really think of yourself as ‘I; but as a part of a composite whole .
One can raise his Kundalini or prana shakti by various practices, there thousands way or more to do it. One important thing that each aspiring practitioner must decide what he is looking for and choose accordingly . What ever you chose the final result is same!

Ideal country for a complete person

An ideal country should allow you:self respect, honour, means of living,a family, kithand kin, friends, wellwishers, ways of education and self-development.
The above facilities are very fundamental for human existene. An land without any one of them can makes's life barren and incomplete in some way or ohter.A man needs suitable conditions for his physical, emotional and intellectual survival.

Complete family

One man is starting his life as a son.
The true son is one who is obedient to his father,a true fater is one who looks after his sons, similarly true friend is one who is trustworthy and true wife is one who makes he5r husband happy.
The obedient sons are like great assets to their fater. They can fulfil his dreams and give feeling of security to and aging father.
Unruly sons cause disappointments and anguish to their father. It is fahters duty to feed his sons and groom them properly to succeed in life.Everyone understands the worth of a friend who can be trusted. It needs no explanation. And a wie who makes life happy will e everyman's dream. She can make or mar a man's life.A quarrelsome, disloyal, untrustworthy, and selfish wife ruins her man.Whe holds the key to a man's happiness. And the wife is where the family starts.

One Man show

A human comes into this world alone. Alone does he get the reward or punishment for good deeds or sins respectively. And alone he departs for heavenly abode.
A man is responsible for his own acts. He can't blame anyone else for whatever befalls him. One negotiates his life himself. Thus a man must act very carefully knowing fully well that no one will share his burden. If he does noble deeds he will earn all the rewards. No one will take away anything. Similarly, no one else can borrow your pain, this life is a one man show.

All times friends of man

Skill is a man's friend in a foreign land. A good natured wife is the man's best friend. Medicine is a sick man's friend. And charitable deeds are one's only friend after death

Education in some skill or field comes good in a foreign land. It helps find employment quickly. the life partner is a man's best friend, no doubt provided she is not quarrelsome. After death only the goodness of the good deeds done by the deceased goes as credit with soul. The credit is supposed to open the doors of the heaven.

Strength of Character

Neither money pays, nor name, nor fame, nor learning; it is CHARACTER that can cleave through adamantine walls of difficulties.
-SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Character is the sum total of a person's values, beliefs and personality. It is reflected in our behaviour and in your actions. It needs to be preserved more than the richest jewel in the world. To be a winner takes character. George Washington said, " I hope i shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most valuable of all tittle, the character of an honest man."

Most of our behaviour is habitual- Comes automatically without thinking. Our character is the sum total of our habits. If we have positive habits, then we have good character. Conversely, if we have negative habits, others will find our character lacking. Habits are a lot stronger than logic and reasoning. In the life cycle of habit formation, a habit starts by being to weak to be felt, and ends up becoming too strong to get out of. Habits can be developed by default or determination. If we don't decide what habits to form, by default we many end up with bad habits.

If you really want to judge of the character of a man, look not at his great performance. Every fool may become a hero at once time or another. Watch a man do his most common actions; those are indeed the things which will tell you the real character of a great man.
The ability to show courage in the face of adversity; show self-restraint in the face of temptation, choose happiness in the face of hurt, show character in the face of despair, and see opportunity in the face of obstacles are all valuable traits to possess. But these traits do not just appear; they are the result of constant and consistent training, our mental and physical. In the face of adversity, our behaviour, weather positive or negative can only be what we have practiced. When we practice negative traits such as Cowardice or dishonesty in small events, and hope to handle major events in a positive way, it won't happen because that's not what we have practiced.

Every work that we do, every movement of the body, every thought that we think, leaves an impression on the mind-stuff, and Even when such impressions are not obvious on the surface, they are sufficiently strong to work beneath the surface, subconsciously. What we are every moment is determined by the sum total of these impressions on the character; each man,s character is determined by the sum total of these impressions. If good impressions prevail, the character becomes good; if bad, it becomes bad. If a man continuously hears bad words, thinks bad thoughts, does bad actions, his mid will be full of bad impressions and they will influence his thought and work with out his being conscious of the fact. He will be like a machine in the hands of his impressions, and they will forces him to do evil, and that man will be a bad man; he cannot help it. Similarly, if a man thinks good thoughts and does good works, the sum total of this impressions will be good and they, in a similar manner, will force him to do good, even in spite of himself. When such is the case, a man's good character is said to be established.
-SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Under adverse circumstances, some people break records and others break down. John F. Kennedy once said that it is a mark of character how well person behaves when things are not going well. When things are going well for us, it is easy to be logical, kind and gracious. But when things aren't going well and we're under lot of pressure, some people can't think clearly and snap at others around them, while others remain clear-headed and continue to treat others with respect.Adversity reveals a persons character.
There is a Russian saying;"A hammer shatters glass but forges steel"There is a lot of truth in the saying. Are we made of glass or steel?it is the same hammer.Just as carbon determines the quality of steel, character determines the quality of a man.
Character-building starts from infancy and goes on until death.Character does not need success. It is success.Just like gardener has to keep weeding to prevent weeds from eating the life of the garden,we need to keep building and developing our character by weeding out our faults.
Ability will get you success;character will keep you successful. someone once said,"our thoughts lead to actions, actions lead to habits, and habits form character."character leads to destiny.
The only remedy for bad habits is counter habits;all the bad habits that have left their impressions are to be controlled by good habits.Go on doing good, thinking holy thoughts continuously;that is the only way to suppress base impressions.Never say any ma is hopeless, because he only represents a character,a bundle of habits, which can be checks by new and better ones.Character is repeated habits, and repeated habits alone can reform character.

Neurotic personalities

Among these neurotic personalities are chain smokers, alcoholics, drug addicts, people contemplating suicide, and all those anxious, fussy people who are never quite satiesfied with life. They also include almost all ulcer patients,as weill as the majority of those suffering from high blood pressur.People who are abnormally fat or thin may also belong to the neurotic group.because of their nervous tensions they either est too much or too little.Sleep-walkers,insomniacs,obessive-compulsive people, cynics, chronics, scoffers, nagging wives, and almost of those unfortunat people who are "always sick"-all of those are emotionally unhealthy in one way or another.Their frustrartion and complaints are almost endless.

Cicero, the great Roman philosopher, said,"The diseases of the mind are more numerous and more destructive than those of the body."He was right, but often the true situation is not recoginized. As a result, many of these unhappy people find themselves wandering from one doctor's office to another, always seaching for a solution, never finding that inner peace they so much desire.sometimes these unfortunate suffers may actually dream up a few extra symptoms to help them gain sympathy! They worry their friends, their families, their employers, their pastors their attorneys, and physicians.

Every doctor's reception room has its share of these unhappy people Many of them feel guilty over real or imaginary situations.Others are afraid of heart trouble, high blood pressure, and cancer. They act as if they are being punished for what they did or did not do.These peculiar guilt feelings always seem to stem from early childhood. As these neurotic people grow older, they often tend to exchange one set of symptoms for another, until finally they reach old age .yet none of this really necessary, with proper care and pranayam or treatment,,most of these problems can be solved

LOVE

Personally I feel very happy at that time and I may forget everything but except one thing at that time.
"That Is Love"

"Love makes life beautiful"why?

Every one,any where, any time they are engaging with love.It will be in a family,in friendship or in professional work.

-----So love is the part of life.

A person cease love himself if no one loves him.

That is the nature of love.

Here,I will tell you one thing very clearly.A thing in this world so great and eternal. We can fell comfort and very happy and there is no space for sorrow.A true love never find faults.

So,why are you waiting -----

------Get ready to fell love.

You can create a lovely love world for yourself,by expecting nothing in return.A sincere love make a person efficient and limitless, won't make use less one.It should not be weakness in your way of behaviour.Love is very nice ,when it used properly.

Many people are misunderstanding the word love because they don't no the meaning of love.Without knowing properly, criticising a particular thing is not good.

Think positively and lovely.Love is all about care, care yourself ,your loved ones and the world.

" Let Us Make The Love World By Loving It".

Self confidence

"As is our confidence,so is our capacity".

So,what is confidence? It is the power to do things very effectively. It is the capacity to over come difficult situations very calmly.Confidence is a state of mind,it won't be always stable it may fell some time.
Danger breeds best on too much confidence.more over it is a personal quality to become powerful. How can we will improve our confidence levels? It is not an ordinary task,it requires some ground work.good character awareness consciousness honest and truthness are the basic qualities for confidence.our confidence will increase by positive thinking.so always think positively don't exaggerate your emotions with wrong things.
A person worthiness we can measure with his self confidence .Why?because it is the strength of a particular person.A person losses family, property, wealth and every thing. If he had confidence he will gain every thing back. That is self confidence. Here physically he may loss many things but mentally his confidence is stable.
With one thing we can create anything that is power of confidence.

Leadership

Yes,we need a leader for a good society,for a good state,for a good country,for a good person and everything.
Why we need a good leader?
Group activity is the basic characterstic of a society.leadership is instrumental in motivating the groups and in the process improving performance.I is the capacity to influence others to follow which is the hallmark of leadership.
Now,at present,in this particular time we need a good leader.why?beacause lack of leadership qualities in the societies every one moving thoughtless, aimless and goalless.
If we have a good leader,we can create maricales to our society. In the sense we can do more for the welfare of society. Now we can discuss what are the qualities of a leader:Rational thinking, reasoning, decision making, good behaviour and judgement.
Further, world is waiting for a good leader.Leaders are not manufactured in a industry or not coming from other planets. That leader may be your friend, your relative, your mentor,-----otherwise yourself.we have improve leadership qualities in our behaviour.then we can create better society with efficently and effectively to face every thing.
A leader is the starting point for a golden society.

Motive of love

"True love has no motives".
Love is a great feeling of ultimate pleasure. Love reflects in care. Love is care and consideration. First of all we have to love ourselves without loving our self(athman) we can't love any creature .If some one is loving any other creature more than himself that is not a true love, it is only an objective love. It's not real at any time it may vanish. Love is care, take care of yourself and then love takes care of all the creature. That is the only thing one can do and remaining will follows itself.

"Duty is seldom sweet. It is only when love greases it wheels that it runs smoothly; it is continuous fricition otherwise".

Duty is the only a activity we have in these world you are recognised or remembered by your duty and how well you performed it. Take care(love ) of it . Love and care is same but appears to be different in life and even english dictionary. Love is hidden in Care. If love something we take care of it. Love is the cause and care is the effect .
"If we take care of some one even your enemy he will definitely change that is the power of love".
The reason behind the pleasure of love

In every activity we do expect something in return or result of our work. But in love its a magic its the result in itself. When we are loving we are giving the care and we are experience the result in the same time. We are geting the result in no time.Love is not expecting some thing in return i.e the reason behind the pleasure of love.

When we are caring something we are only caring it or proctecting it in return we are not expecting anything we just care or protect it and we are doing and geting the result in same time What a fantastic feeling of enjoying the result.

" Love appears as alliance, but begins in deep solitude".

Love appears as relationship but begins in deep solitude. The source of love is not in relating, the source of love is in meditating. When you are absolutely happy in your aloneness, when you don’t need the other at all, when the other is not a need, then you are capable of love. If the other is your need you can only exploit, manipulate, dominate, but you cannot love. You create a bondage around the person you think you love. But love cannot create a prison, love gives freedom. But that is possible only if you have known a totally different quality of love: not of need but of sharing.

The secret behind love

Love is an feeling or state of mind which is powered by imagination and visualisation.Actualy love is living in your dream world which is created by imagination and visualisation.Love is very powerful because its is formed by your interests and opinion. When some one is fall in love,Their mind will creat an exact world of their intersts and they enjoy the feeling and pleasure. They don't like to come out of their visualisation(visualisation is the process of crating and seeing a mental picture of what we wnat to have of do,or the kind of person we want to be)When two persons fall in love and they together imagined their world and its powered by their concentration(dharana is concentration of the mind focusing on one object)they will meditate together and separately(meditation is a deep and continuous process of focusing the mine on one thought wave). They have the faith in love and it will happen(if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,"move from here to there"and it will move, and nothing shall be impossible for you(matt17:20]".With their strong faith they will feel the experience of their imagined world.Only if they have no faith or they loss their faith there is a chance of fail in love.If they have the faith of a mustered seed they will never fail in love.Love have its own strength to overcome all its adversities.

"Love have the power of imagination, visualisation, dharana, meditation, faith, believe"

Love is a combination of imagination, visualisation, dharana, meditation, faith and believe. The main problem with the lovers are they are not aware of what is happening to their mind, they are only enjoying their feeling of Bliss.

How to concentrate

Tratak: Sit in padmasan pose, erect.Gaze at a picture of your deity for some time. Then close eyes and visualize the form of the image.Repeat several times.Think of a lotus flower blooming in the heart or of a candle lighted.
Focus at a point between the two eyebrows.
Invoke the name of the Lord and then stop and imagine that the same voice is coming out from the heart.
Think always positively;leave ;anger, jealousy and hate.
Ponder over the good things in life.

Visit holy places, see holy men, study holy scriptures.
Eat only pure food, befriend good beings and perform duty with out a self motive.
When mind is relaxed, divine feelings arise in the heart.Mundane desires, allurement and attachments drive a person away from God.But when one develops love for God in the heart. It is filled with joy.Kind and gracious deeds and feelings for fellow beings take one nearer to the Lord.
It is advisable for fellow human beings to do prayer regularly. One should unflinching faith in Him.He should feel his presence within. One should detach himself from the pretty things of the world and look towards God to bless him.Soul-the part of the Almighty_is the only friend, guide and philosopher one should Give up Ego and should not think that he is the doer.
Exercises
Lie down flat on Bed,relax from feet to head.Inhale deeply and pronounce Om Om Om and then exhale while pronouncing the same mantra mentally.Think of the presence of God and consider him as your Father and mother. While inhaling concentrate on muladhara chakra and while exhaling feel that the vital force is flowing upwards through the spinal channel, thus revitalising the body.
Fix your mind at Muladhara and feel you are the earth element;then on Swadhishtaha chakra and think you are the water element;then meditate on manipura chakra and feel you are the fire element,on Anahate chakra and feel you are the air element,onVishudhi chakra and Feel you are the air element,on Vishudhi chakra and think you are ether and then on Ajna chakra.

The Fearless Man

Contacts of the senses with their objects bring cold and heatm pleasure and pain; they come and go and are transient. Endure them.

The wise man who si not distrubed or agitated by these, who is unmoved by pleasure and pain, he alone is fitted for immortality.

Any being who is not subject to the impressions of senses will never experience fear. It is these impressions which are responsible for the feelings of happiness and misery. Someone has said that the muscles of a man who is angry become thirteen times as tense as when he is normal , and of a man who is laughing nine times as tense. That is, one spends more energy when one is angry and one whose energy thus wasted cannot attain to immortality. The cultivation of this state requires practice. We can even say of a person who has attained to it that he is God.

We feel afraid only so long as we take the rope to be a serpent. Like wise, if we know the natural stages of growth of the body, we shall not grieve over death.

Happiness in marriage

Marriage is the most important and most enjoyable of all human relationships. It is the true basis of all family life.No one should ever enter into marriage thoughtlessly.Too much is at stake.Far too many people are unhappy married because of hasty decisions.True marital happiness requires that both husband and wife be well matches in mind and body, and that they be compatible and easy to get along with.It always takes two people to make a successful marriage, but one alone can spoil it through neglect to selfishness.

Setting up a new home is a great adventure for all who are young at heart. There are so many things to see and do,and so many pleasures to enjoy together. Most thrilling of all is the privilege and enjoyment of a normal sex relationship.Nothing contributes more to a smooth-running than this.On the other hand, nothing seems to cause more trouble than failure in this normal part of human experience.Men and woman who are not prepares to understand this simple fact had better not enter into marriage, for they are likely to be very disappointed.

The highest yajna

The person who performs the yajna of knowledge makes a greater sacrifice than another who performs the yajna of money, for the yajna of knowledge covers everything, money and all other things.Knowledge covers everythg which exists in the world, with out reference to the distinction betwen living and non-living.If we understand the terms dravya and janana in a wide sense,a yajna of knowledge includes yajna of every kind of dravya.Anyone who imparts the highest knowledge to us,convinces us to the very depth of our being that the body is not the atman, performs a very great yajna indeed

Reality

"If we know some thing; then we practice it, we will realize quite another thing ,this is reality."

Experience is the only source of knowledge. In the world, religion is the only science where there is no surety, because it is not taught as a science where there is no surety, because it is not taught as a science of experience. This should not be.There is always, however,a small group of men who teach religion from experience. They are called mystics, and these mystics in every religion speak the same tongue and teach the same truth. This is the real science of religion .As mathematics in every part of the world does not differ,so the mystics do not differ. They are all similarly constituted and similarly situated.Their experience is the same;and this becomes law.

The self-controlled man

"Renouncing with the mind all actions, the dweller in the body, who is master of himself, rests happily in his city of nine gates, neither doing nor getting anything done."

The self-controlled man, that is ,the man established in the atman, mentally renounces all karma and lives to peace. To renounce all karma mentally means to make the mind indifferent to them,to withdraw it into an attitude of detachment towards work and feel that we are not doing what we are engaged in, that it is God who impels us to do it.Surely we do not feel,as we breathe, that we are breathing. We have mentally renounced that karma. It becomes necessary to breathe with a conscious effort of mind only when natural breathing is obstructed. At all other times,it goes on mechanically. The atman dwells, ever at rest,in this body with nine doors, doing nothing and causing nothing to be done.Though it may be working or acting to make others work,it will not be doing so it it has mentally renounc3ed karma

The most purifying

"There is nothing in this world so purifying as knowledge. He who is performed by yoga finds it in himself in fullness of time."

We see nothing in this world as holy as this knowledge(The purest yajna, therefore,is the yajna of knowledge). He who has become fit for moksha through the practice of yoga comes to this knowledge is realization of time by his own effort. That knowledge is realization of the self.As soon as this realization is attained, all the burden of this body and of karma well melt away.
